Economic Impact Analysis

As part of its overall fundraising strategy, the Clemens Center in Elmira, NY, required an analysis of the economic impact generated by the Center in the city of Elmira, as well as the surrounding areas. The analysis performed by Mr. Weidemann quantified the importance of the Center to the region’s economy primarily through the use of input/output analysis, evaluated the Center’s direct impact as an employer and corporation, and indirect impact as a major regional attraction and economic asset. Mr. Weidemann’s work helped the Center to exceed fundraising expectations and also complete one of the largest capital campaigns in the city’s history.
